Published Hairstylist, Makeup Artist, and Educator, Breanne Gershon is driven by her dedication to create and inspire. Recently awarded the titles of the Contessa 2024 Alberta Hairstylist of the Year, the 2023 Canadian Makeup Artist of the Year, and the 2023 VZN Western Canadian Hairstylist, her signature style is coined as precise and masterful.
Beginning her career in the salon industry, Breanne swiftly obtained her license as a Journeyman Hairstylist at the age of 19, honing her skills in hairstyling and makeup artistry. 10 years later; she has spent the last decade sharing her passion for creative concept design through her work in beauty and editorial photoshoots, education, and continuing to work in salon. Continuously dedicated to the growth and development of emerging talent, she is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Education at the University of Alberta; further solidifying her commitment to fostering future talent.
Her contributions have earned her several notable accolades, including the esteemed recognition as a finalist in the 2023 North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) Makeup Artist of the Year Awards. In 2022 she earned a spot in the top 5 Canadian Fan Favorites Overall, at the Contessa Awards. Her dedication to excellence began with her Gold Medal win at the 2012 Skills Canada Competition for her work in Bridal Updo and Styling.
